Hamden Memorial Town Hall, Fire Station & Police Facilities

Built in 1924 the neoclassical Hamden Town Hall was nearly vacant for twenty years. NCA was retained to evaluate renovations to the historic town hall and consider the addition of a new police facility. This unique project required that the addition complement the original design, overlaid with the mandates of the Historic Commission. Of particular interest was the restoration of the auditorium in the town hall so it could be used for public functions and be accessible to the public.
