Glastonbury Boat House

Phase 2 of the Glastonbury Riverfront Park is a public park and recreation area, boat launch and a new two-story boathouse, which will be used for crew team workout space, boat storage and a large community room on the second floor. The large Community Room is available for Town use and for rental income for the Town. The building is a riverfront vernacular with overhanging roofs supported with brackets and a cupola.

The project construction will begin in July 2013 and will be completed in late 2014. The riverfront construction is subject to strict environmental limitations, requiring no exterior construction during the eagle nesting season (December through March).
