Connecticut’s smallest town needed significant improvements to their Pre-K to Grade 8 facility. NCA used their educational expertise to facilitate a design that met Voluntown’s goals on several levels and resulted in a unified design experience. The programmatic goal was to segregate the educational components into three communities: pre-K-grade 1, grades 2-5, and grades 6-8. Central to the design solution was a new wing dedicated to the pre-K and kindergarten facilities with new classroom spaces specifically designed to meet their needs.
