NCA designed the private residential project located at Carnegie Abbey to maximize sweeping bay views and follow the sun pattern so spaces are naturally lighted throughout the day. Acknowledging the resort’s architecture, the house imbues Shingle, Stick and Adirondack styles. The exterior is distinguished by a colonnade and covered porches. The open interior plan boasts intimate gathering spaces. A courtyard connects the main house to the guest house and features an outdoor fireplace.
