NCA Principal John Scheib Presents at Learning Environments Conference in Philadelphia

John D. Scheib, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal at NCA, will be presenting at the Association for Learning Environments International Conference LearningSCAPES: Revolutions in Learning in Philadelphia, PA from September 28-October 1.

Scheib and A4LE colleague Robert J. Hendriks III, APR, ALEP will present Transformation of Empty Classrooms into Tech Start-Up Headquarters, a look at prime examples of schools serving as tech or green industry incubators, both in existing schools and repurposed school buildings.

In a second presentation, Scheib will be joined by members of the Connecticut Technical High School System (CTHSS) to present A Check-Up on Tomorrow’s Framework: Career and Technical High Schools Embody the Future of Experiential Learning.  The session will focus on the mission of the CTHSS to partner with local industry, strive for globally-conscious, well-prepared learners and create new models for the future of Career and Technical Education (CTE).
